Q&A

Common Questions and Answers

Do you give out raw or unedited images?

Unfortunately no, they are unfinished Images. Unedited images are not an accurate representation of my work or brand. It is vital that I deliver to you only my very best work. If you ordered a cake from the best bakery in town, would you expect the baker to deliver you a tray full of the ingredients? I wouldn’t. I hired the baker for a cake. Not an unfinished product. Another example is a painter with a half-finished canvas.

An unedited RAW file does not meet my standard of excellence. If I decide to deliver these files to my clients, it removes my discretion from the process and protection. As a professional, I must set the standard for my business. I’m responsible for setting the bar for my own presence in the market. This is why photographers cull images and remove those that aren’t up to our standard. This is also why it is important only to deliver products that meet your standard of excellence.

Do you DO CUSTOM PACKAGES?

Yes, I do! Custom packages usually start at $300. Digitals are typically sent by email, in a private Google Drive folder, 2 weeks from the photo session.
A custom package is perfect for someone who knows exactly what they want. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a musician, a model, an artist, or someone in need of new portraits; this package will create photos to help you make a lasting impression. We will still have an opportunity to sit one-on-one and discuss your vision. Either virtually or in person. Together or with a team, we will make it happen! Outdoor to indoor locations using a mix of natural light and photo lighting equipment.
The prices will vary depending on equipment needed, how long it might take, amount of digitals, type of quality format, sizing, travel fees, assistance needed, etc.

Are taxes included in the prices?

Yes! I included taxes in the set prices.
Even in the starting packages, after calculations, It will also include tax amount.

What Is a non-refundable Deposit?

What is a retainer? Why am I being asked to pay one? Because it benefits both you and your photographer! A retainer is typically a non-refundable deposit made as part of a session's booking confirmation (in addition to a signed contract, stating the terms of your agreement.) Your photographer asks for this in exchange for them reserving their services for your specific date—meaning they're 100% yours! You have the peace of mind that they can't book anyone else. But that also means the same on their end! If you reschedule or cancel your original session date, they lose out on business. I typically consider my editing times while scheduling sessions, especially weddings or elopements, so a last-minute reschedule or cancellation can really mess with how I run my business.
In short, non-refundable deposits are intended to protect a business in circumstances of sudden cancellation and to compensate the business for the time, effort, and money expended up to that point. The deposit is subtracted from the total amount of the package.
